A Day of Appreciation and Celebration!

This past Wednesday, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting our Annual Administrative Professionals Luncheon at the charming Bricktown Events!

We were proud to recognize the diligent, dedicated, and hardworking Administrative Professionals who are the backbone of our organizations. Their behind-the-scenes efforts keep everything running smoothly every single day - and they deserve all the recognition!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to the sponsors who helped make this special event possible:

Presenting Sponsor: Huntingdon County Career and Technology Center

Entertainment Sponsor: Lincoln Caverns, Inc.

Luncheon Sponsor: South Hills School of Business & Technology

We are grateful for your support in celebrating these amazing professionals!

Join us in downtown Huntingdon for Mayfest, a vibrant spring tradition that brings our community together for a full day of fun, food, and festivities!

Stroll through streets lined with local artisans, food trucks, live music, and activities for all ages. Whether you're shopping handmade goods, sampling unique eats, or just soaking up the small-town charm, Mayfest offers a little something for everyone.

It's the perfect way to welcome warmer weather, connect with neighbors, and support local businesses. Come out and celebrate what makes Huntingdon such a special place! You won't want to miss this Huntingdon tradition!

We're thrilled to announce that Huntingdon County Night at the Altoona Curve will take place on Saturday, July 26th!

This year, we're proud to support The Salvation Army as the beneficiary of the event. Your participation will help make a lasting impact on our community, all while enjoying a night at the ballpark!

Business Owners - Looking for way to give back while rewarding your team? Consider a sponsor package! This is your chance to connect with your employees and their families and support a great cause at the same time!

Individual tickets are also available! It's going to be a night you don't want to miss!

Important Reminder: All sponsor packages and tickets MUST be purchased through our representative, Dylan Sim, to ensure The Salvation Army benefits from your support.

We can't wait to see you at the ballpark and make this night one to remember!

Did you know........

Small businesses represent the largest segment by number of most local chamber membership rolls. Results in the research study by The Shapiro Group, Inc. and Market Street indicate the impact of local chamber membership on small businesses is very powerful. If a consumer knows a small business is a member of its local chamber, the business enjoys a 44 percent increase in its consumer favorability rating, a 51 percent increase in consumer awareness, a 57 percent increase in its local reputation and a 63 percent increase in the likelihood that consumers will patronize the business in the future.

Research indicates that chamber membership stimulates business-to-business commerce in the local community. Other businesses in town are more likely to do business with you and your company if you are a member of the local chamber. Because a major part of a small business typically comes from business-to-business services, it is essential to maintain a positive standing within the local business community.
