Friends of the Nest,

What an inspiring year 2016 was. We are so thankful for every one of you who helped to make Tu Nidito a safe place for children to heal. And now, we invite you to mark your calendars for 2017!
  • Join us as we celebrate the 2017 Remarkable Moms! Cris Cisco, Dr. Mary Cochran, Lori Dallman, Czarina Lopez and Michelle Morgan will all be celebrated at the Westin La Paloma on Saturday, May 13th. Mark your calendars now!
  • Dueling Pianos is coming back! Thanks to everyone who celebrated with Tu Nidito at this fun show last September. It was a night of energy and loud signing and it's coming back this fall. Stay tuned for dates and details.
  • Tu Nidito continues to expand the definition of grief, beyond bereavement and illness, to ensure that no child grieves alone. We have new and growing partnerships with Casa de los Ninos and the Pima County courts to help adults recognize when young children are grieving.
And perhaps the most exciting news of all, the Tu Nidito Endowment! An endowment is a fund of restricted money that allows an organization ongoing support. The fund is structured so that the principle is kept in perpetuity and the annual disbursement becomes income for the agency. So what does this really mean? Right now, Tu Nidito begins every year with our revenue budget at a zero. We work hard each year to raise the approximately million dollars it takes to ensure our support services are available to our community's children at no cost to them. An endowment will start our budget year with a positive. We invite you to become a part of Tu Nidito's legacy, by making a gift.

Again, thank you for a wonderful 2016 and here's to an even stronger 2017!
