January 2018
Your monthly news & updates
As 2018 rolls around we are excited about the direction Llano is headed in the coming year. It gets started early in January with Jake Hooker, the Llano County Junior Livestock Show, the Llano Country Opry, and our Annual Community Awards Banquet. Looking forward to new events, motorcycle rallys in September and October, fly-ins in the fall, and all the regular festivals, Llano is going to be busier than ever in 2018. From Kim, Susan, and Briley, we are here to serve y'all.
Llano County
Junior Livestock Show , Arts, Craft & Food Show
The 2018 Llano County Junior Livestock show is coming up January 11-13, culminating with an auction on Saturday evening. But for exhibitors, the show started many months ago. The first item on the list is to pick a project, whether it’s raising a chicken, taking a photograph, painting a horse, baking a cake, or choosing a steer, exhibitors have the choice of what to do. Working with parents, guardians, and 4-H leaders help to learn life skills, how to work with others, keep records, and be organized. These are all skills learned through 4-H and FFA. Come out and support Llano’s kids as they show their hard work to the judges and public
