Stroll Down Memory Lane

As this unpredictable year comes to an end,  we wanted to take a quick moment to remember the joy that was spread by Dennis for so many years while working with the WAWM Recreation Department. He was always good for a quick witted joke and the games starting late because he was too busy schmoozing in the hallway. He taught us the excitement of a $0.50 piece and of course the times when all we could do was shake our heads and think "Oh Dennis..."

During this holiday season, we'd like to remember all those little things about him.  While we have spent a lot of time navigating the current health situation, it is important to look back and remember all of the things that have brought us together. The love the community shared with one another would make Dennis very proud.  Dennis can remind us that life does not have to be so serious all the time, a corny joke can make people smile, and even when patience may be running thin- the true joy is that we have each other to lean on.  Dennis was always a kid at heart, and there is no doubt we can all walk away with a smile knowing that our lives are better because he was a part of it.

Youth Sports

Update: 2nd-8th Grade Boys & Girls Basketball

Due to low enrollment, we will be changing our format from traditional league play to instructional practices.  These practices will focus on skill development and teaching the fundamentals.  Please note, because of the low enrollment, we are not able to divide into teams and play games.  There will still be opportunity to play small-sided games, like 3 vs. 3 during the instructional format.

Adult Enrichment

2021 is the year of YOU and why not try something new to celebrate! From learning a new dance style to improving your at-home cooking the WAWM RCS Department has the opportunity for you this year to try something new!

This January we have martial arts, cooking, photography, dance and much more for adults.  Make 2021 about YOU and try something NEW!
