Here is information on : Option High Schools and the Open Enrollment Process if you want to explore other high schools beyond the one you are assigned to. Open Enrollment begins on February 1.

A bit about this unique high school program: Our North Seattle College and Seattle University sites each enroll 20 students at the beginning of the academic school year. These students will spend their 9th and 10th grade years earning high school credits. In their 11th and 12th grade years, students will enroll in the Running Start program through one of three Seattle Colleges where they begin earning both high school and college credits. Join the Building Leadership Team
McClure’s Building Leadership Team (BLT) is recruiting 1-2 parent representatives to serve on the BLT. The parent representative would attend all BLT meetings and PTSA board meetings to report the work of the BLT. The BLT typically meets twice monthly on Monday afternoons from 4:00-5:00 (time can be adjusted if needed). PTA
 
Function of BLT is to:
·        Oversee the facilitation and development of the CSIP (Continuous School Improvement Plan)
·        Prepare and oversee the annual budget
·        Develop a school-wide professional development program
·        Staff Representatives proactively communicate with and advocate for constituents
·        Parent Representative: attend meetings and report back to the PTSA board at PTSA board meetings

Community Activities
Queen Anne Little League registration for baseball, softball, and tee ball is now open. Leagues are available for players ages 4 to 16. QALL is also proud to be part of the Challenger program for children as well as adults with physical and intellectual challenges. The league is committed to providing access to anyone who wants to play baseball or softball and has partial as well as full scholarships available. Please visit https://qall.org.
