Time flies when you are having fun and we had so much fun last year that we never got a chance to welcome all the new Certified Zentangle Teachers from around the world in our newsletter.
Since we are honoring the Zentangle philosophy of No Mistakes this month, we thought it was an appropriate time to play catch up and celebrate all of the passionate and enthusiastic tanglers who joined our worldwide family of Certified Zentangle Teachers in 2023.

CZT 40: April 4-7, 2023
In 2023, Zentangle HQ hosted their first hybrid seminar. Attendees from 13 different countries gathered together, either in person in Newport, Rhode Island or online from the comfort of their own homes for the 4-day CZT training.

It is hard to describe the energy and gratitude that is felt at a CZT seminar, and CZT 40 was no different! We arrived from our homes as strangers from different cultures, backgrounds and generations and we returned home as part of a family with a passion for sharing the Zentangle Method.

CZT 41: September 22-24, 2023
In September, we hosted an online seminar that brought together 193 tanglers from all over the world. Some joined us from across the street and some from across the world. We are always amazed by how much we can feel the energy from everyone during an online event.

In October of 2023, our friends at Conzentric hosted an online seminar, broadcasted live from Frankfurt Germany. | |

CZT Europe 7 had 108 participants, including the very first CZT in Guatemala!
The seminar was taught in German and simultaneously translated into English, Spanish and French, allowing attendees from all over Europe and beyond to join and learn. Language support provided by a team of wonderful Certified Zentangle Teachers.

CZT Asia 21: April 13-16, 2023
In the spring of 2023, our friends at Created With Love hosted the 21st CZT Asia training seminar in Mandarin. Hosted live from both Taipei and Shanghai, CZT Asia 21 was attended by 68 attendees and like Spring, it was filled with the perfect amount of beauty, tranquility, and stability.

CZT Asia 22: August 17-20, 2023
In August 2023, Created With Love returned to hosting in person events with their first hybrid seminar. Seventy-seven participants joined them either in person or online for the immersive Zentangle experience.

CZT Asia 23: October 17-20, 2023
After many years, the CZT Asia Seminar returned to Shanghai, bringing everyone together once again! It was a joyous occasion to reunite in person and engage with CZTs face-to-face, learning, sharing, and immersing themselves in the art of Zentangle. CZT-Asia 23 offered both in-person and online participation options, providing an opportunity for more Zentangle tanglers to learn together. With a total of 32 participants, both in-person and online, a wonderful time of Zentangle exploration was shared.

2024 Scholarship Opportunity (US Only):
Through the generosity of our worldwide Zentangle family, The Zentangle Foundation is pleased to offer scholarship support towards attending CZT training seminars, hosted in the US, for those who are inspired to teach and share the Zentangle Method in their community. This is a mission based scholarship.
Applications for CZT 42 are due by May 1, 2024. For more information and for the scholarship application, please visit the Zentangle Foundation website.
