Load Your Locker

Join us this Thursday, August 21 from 5:00-6:00 p.m. to Load Your Locker! Students will have an opportunity to meet their teacher, see their dresk, and load up their locker or hook or bin. If you cannot attend Load Your Locker, you can bring your supplies on Tuesday, August 26, for the first day of school.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up

Reminder: During the first few days of school (Tuesday-Thursday) parents are invited to come into the building to walk students to classrooms. Parents are encouraged to take photos with teachers.

Starting on Tuesday, September 2, students are expected to enter the school building independently. Good-byes can happen either in the parking lot (if parking a car when a student needs help with buckles, strap, and doors) or in the car-line (if students can exit a car/truck without assistance). If a special need arises (birthday treats, school projects, etc.) parents are invited to help assist in carrying in items for ease of the student.

At the end of the day, teachers will accompany their students to the main parking lot and will stand in designated areas with clear signage.

Parents/grandparents/guardians should plan to park their vehicles and walk toward their students. All adults are encouraged to step inside the cones towards the school, this will allow moving cars to safely pass through the parking lot.

Teachers will release students to parents once parents have reached the group (no students running into the parking lot to meet parents standing by cars).

As we navigate the beginning of the school year, please be patient with your child and your child’s teacher.

Parent Orientation Reminder

Please plan on attending the Y5/K-8th grade Parent Orientation on either Tuesday, August 26, after the 11:30 a.m. dismissal, or Wednesday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m.

The length of the orientation depends on the number of students you have enrolled. A family of two students should plan on 1 hour and 15 minutes. A family of three students should plan on 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you have more than three students you might want to plan on attending both events to make it to all four of your children’s classrooms.

It is advised to find childcare for your student for the event. Students can join you for orientation, but you might find it easier to navigate and concentrate if they are attended to elsewhere. For example, after the 11:30 a.m. dismissal, many families choose to send students home for lunch with one parent (or a grandparent, aunt, babysitter, etc.) while the other parent attends the orientation. Likewise for the evening orientation.

First Day of School Extended Care

Extended Care will be available on the first day of school on August 26, 2025, after the early dismissal at 11:30 a.m.

If you will be in need of Extended Care and have not updated your paperwork with Mrs. Kramer or need to register for Extended Care, please contact the office.

Please plan to pack your child a sack lunch from home, as hot lunch will not be available.

New Church & School Apparel

The Church and School have a new apparel store!

The store will be open now until September 7. Orders will then be fulfilled and delivered to the school by the last week of September. The office will communicate how the orders will be available for pickup once fulfilled.

This will be the first of three campaigns throughout the 2025-2026 school year. If you have any questions, please contact office@stpaulbaycity.org.
