WELCOME AND THANK YOU TO
RISE RECOVERY'S ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS: SUSAN NAYLOR AND CARROLL JACKSON
We are grateful and pleased to welcome Susan Naylor and Carroll Jackson as our Rise Recovery Advisory Board members. Our Advisory Board will strengthen our vision and mission of the organization through their personal insight and commitment to the need of recovery support in our community as we expand the reach and impact of Rise Recovery’s lifesaving efforts.
LET'S TALK ABOUT MARIJUANA
Adolescents and young adults are among the most vulnerable to the harms of marijuana. Substances like marijuana directly interfere with brain development, especially the parts of the brain responsible for decision making, reward seeking and impulse control.
- Article by drugfree.org, Feb. 2021
The effects of and access to marijuana has drastically changed even since just 15 years ago. It's important for parents/caregivers to understand its impact and have an open, honest, nonjudgmental conversation with their children so that they too understand the risks.

SAN ANTONIO'S FIRST HIGH SCHOOL FOCUSED ON RECOVERY IS OPEN FOR ENROLLMENT!
It's official! Rise Inspire Academy's charter has been approved by the Texas Education Agency! We are the FIRST school in San Antonio, the 7th largest city in the country, to be focused on youth recovery! We look forward to Fall 2021 with our first official class of high school students seeking recovery as a path to their academic success with our partner, BRAINATION and Beatrice Blackmon leading the way as our outstanding RIA Administrator.
