Welcome to 2021! This year we continue to see our schools and businesses make adjustments to comply with shelter-in-place protocols, our global economy tries to recover and our students continue to remain resilient. My hope through all this transformation is that we find unity. That our togetherness leads to grace, generosity and care for our students.
2020 was a year for our history books. As an organization, we also embarked on new best “virtual” practices. We hope that our communication and professional development opportunities were of value to our members. Like you, our board dealt with many unsettling feelings about the new norms and we shifted our way of doing business. In 2020, our Nation was faced with many divides. It was through these divides that we found a way to connect, a way to come together. With the vaccine rolling out to our communities, I am feeling hopeful and I am finding ways to see the light.
