McKenzie Families,

Welcome back! I hope you all have had an incredible and restful summer. While the sunshine and downtime will be missed, the staff at McKenzie is eager to welcome all of our Eagles back to the classroom!

As we gear up for another wonderful school year, staying informed about what's happening at McKenzie is vital to ensuring that things run smoothly.

We hope you all join us for our Back-to-School Meet the Teachers event on August 29th from 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the Old Gym!

From 5:15 to 6:00 p.m., elementary students can check out their classrooms for the upcoming year, while middle and high school students can scope out their lockers and converse with teachers. A light dinner will also be served.

Upcoming Job Alert 🏀

Do you have a passion for shooting hoops and inspiring Eagles to soar both on and off the court? Apply to be our NEW Middle School Girls Basketball Coach or Middle School Boys Basketball Coach.

Applicants must have NFHS training before the season starts and complete the required online training and certifications for this sport. Fingerprinting, a criminal history check, and a CPR/First Aid card are also required. Finally, applicants must be willing to consent to drug and alcohol testing.

Bus Drivers Needed: We are Hiring 🚍

Make a difference in your community and be a school bus driver for McKenzie School District.

Take the wheel of a rewarding career, or supplement your income with part-time work. Bus drivers work approximately 16 hours per week, with possible additional after-school activity bus hours.

Qualified candidates may also be able to gain additional hours working on campus in other roles supporting our students. Pay starts at $22.54 per hour, depending on experience. Plus, for a limited time, new bus drivers can earn up to $1,200 in bonuses.

Training is provided by the district.
