Dear Kehillah Community,
Welcome back! We hope you had a restful and enjoyable holiday break. As we start the new semester, we ask for your help keeping everyone safe and relieving congestion during drop-off and pick-up times.
To ensure a smoother experience for everyone, please follow these essential guidelines:
1. Use Designated Drop-Off and Pick-Up Zones
- Help us avoid unnecessary congestion by using the designated drop-off and pick-up areas within the parking lot.
-
Please do not stop on the street or outside of marked areas.
2. Follow Traffic Flow
-
Whenever possible, approach the campus by traveling southbound on Fabian Way.
-
If you’re traveling northbound and turning left, remember that southbound traffic has the right of way.
3. Drive Safely in the Parking Lot:
-
Keep your speed to 7 mph or less to protect pedestrians and other vehicles.
-
The left lane is for drop-off and pick-up. The right lane is a bypass lane for through traffic.
-
All vehicles in both lanes must stop at the stop sign.
4. Exit Carefully:
-
When leaving, stop before the sidewalk and look both ways for vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians, especially in the crosswalk.
5. Display a Valid Vehicle Pass:
-
Ensure your car has a valid parking pass. To avoid duplicate requests, please check with your household before submitting.
-
If you need a pass, fill out this form. Passes are processed on Sundays and will be available with Elaine on Mondays.
6. Cooperate with Faculty Assistance:
- Faculty members are on-site to guide traffic. Please follow their instructions to help reduce delays and improve safety for everyone.
Together, we can make drop-off and pick-up safer and less stressful for the entire Kehillah community. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and commitment to keeping our campus safe and congestion-free.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out at 650-213-9600.
Here’s to a safe and smooth semester!
Warm regards,
Kehillah Security
