Welcome to a New School Year

Welcome back, South School families. As we begin a new school year, we do so with excitement for the year ahead while also holding heavy hearts as we remember Kashmira. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by our entire South School community. If your family would like to write a memory card for Kashmira’s family, please send it to the main office. The school will collect the cards and organize their delivery to her family.

This year, our PTO is focused on supporting our students, celebrating our teachers and staff, and bringing our school community together. Through engaging events, meaningful support, and opportunities to connect, we hope to make this a memorable and wonderful year for everyone at South School.

Warmly,

Your South School PTO

Become a Library Volunteer

South School Library offers the opportunity for two volunteers to work with each class to help with book check in and check out, reshelving books, and special library projects. Library volunteers are asked to come into the library every other week, alternating with their partner, during their class's library time for the entire school year.

If you are interested in volunteering in the library and are able to commit to coming in every other week for your class's library day and time, please sign up at the link below by Friday, September 18, 2026.
