Welcome to Fall 2021, Spartans!

In response to the international crises in Afghanistan and Haiti, Associated Students is hosting a donation drive. We will be tabling around campus and taking donations online over the next couple of weeks. To donate directly to A.S. Operation Helping Hands, visit https://relief-donationsas.square.site/.  
 
The A.S. Board of Directors holds regular meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month. The next two meetings are on September 8 and 22. Feel free to join the meeting on Zoom! More information can be found here.

You can get involved with Student Government by joining as a student-at-large in one of the various A.S. committees. Funding is also available to Recognized Student Organizations at https://www.sjsu.edu/as/funding.php

Protesting is one of the many ways we draw attention to the issues important to us! But it’s important to learn how to stay safe in the process. Tune in to hear from Joella Roberts to learn what protesting safety looks like! Attendees will be entered into a raffle for a safety kit.

We’ve missed you at the Garden! Come to our Grand Reopening and Harvest Festival. The Garden has been upgraded with a recently-completed Universal Design construction project! Enjoy refreshments, live music, crafts, a photo opportunity, airbrush tattoos, sound healing, and accessible yoga sessions led by CCCAC Manager Diana Victa.
