Back to School All-Staff

Our next All-Staff event will be on Monday, August 7th! We will kick off the new school year while building community, welcoming and recognizing employees, and sharing important information related to the agency and upcoming year.

LOCATION

Commons Conference Center on the J.J. Pickle Research Campus (10100 Burnet Rd., Building 137, Austin 78758).

We are meeting in the Big Tex Auditorium. 

 

PARKING + PARKING PERMIT (required)

All parking is on surface lots and located near the conference center.

Please print out the attached parking permit. Use the map on the parking permit to locate a designated parking lot, then place the permit on your dashboard for parking attendants to see, otherwise they will ticket your car (Please see Deidre or Angela if you need a parking permit.)


ADDITIONAL DAY-OF INFORMATION:

Dress Code: Business/Smart casual (CIS shirt preferred)

Recommended: Sweater or jacket (rooms tend to be cold)

Provided: Water, coffee, tea, a light breakfast, grab-and-go lunch, and afternoon snacks

Available: Nursing Parent Room; Please bring your own cooler.

Available: Self-Care space; Located in the Tower Room.

Your 2023/24 communication kit will be handed out at All Staff or please look for it in your campus mailbox at Central.

Mental Health and Wellness Department

The Mental Health and Wellness Department is looking forward to the first full school year of providing services to students, facilitating mental health trainings, and supporting the internship program.

Targeted campuses – PMs and PDs will be invited to an MHWC rollout meeting in August. Date coming soon!

Field Instructors and Task Supervisors – We will be hosting an orientation about intern onboarding process, FI and TS requirements and best practices. You will receive an Auzmor link.

Mental Health Trainings will be listed in Auzmor. We are working on a Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) introductory training and an SFBT certification training. More information coming soon!
