Babson College Fund - Recruiting Timeline


The Babson College Fund (BCF) is an accredited course in which specially selected students from both the undergraduate and graduate schools manage $5 million of the Babson College endowment. The program is for highly self-motivated individuals with a strong interest in finance and investments. Applications are now being accepted for the spring recruiting cycle. The deadline is Wednesday, March 6th.

Python Workshop



The Cutler Center is pleased to partner with Training the Street to offer professional development training using Python. During this hands-on course, participants will gain the skills needed to develop Python programs to solve typical finance problems, cutting through the noise of generic "Data Science" courses. This workshop is open to Babson undergraduate and graduate students. Space is limited.

Financial Modeling Workshop


The Cutler Center is pleased to partner with Training the Street on a full-day financial modeling workshop. Participants will learn to build a fully integrated three-statement model by forecasting the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement using various assumptions. This workshop is open to Babson undergraduate and graduate students. Space is limited.

MIT Sloan FinTech Conference

This student-run conference will bring together the world’s most prominent minds in fintech and cryptocurrency, along with innovators, investors, professionals, students, and professors. This full-day conference with various panel discussions will also feature a startup competition and conclude with a networking reception.

Incident Response Forum Ransomware

The only conference of its kind, this event focuses solely on the field of Incident Response and ransomware attacks. Each session throughout the day is geared specifically toward the legal and compliance professionals who have emerged as critical players during the aftermath of ransomware attacks. Babson students can utilize the code STARK118 for complimentary access.

UWIN Mentorship & Internship Program 

The Loomis Sayles Undergraduate Women’s Investment Network (UWIN) is designed to inspire, develop and recruit undergraduate women for investment management careers through mentorship and internship opportunities. The mentorship program matches undergraduate women with a Loomis Sayles mentor to help connect the educational experience to a potential career in investment management by sharing knowledge, experience, and career advice. In the paid internship program, women experience two investment or client-facing functions in 10-week rotations during the school year.
