Most Exciting Spirit Week
and Homecoming
Students from preschool through high school had a blast celebrating NVCA Spirit and Homecoming Week.
Each day students dressed up according to a theme such as a superhero day, tie-dye/neon day, Lions/sports team day, and more.
On Friday, as everyone gathered in the gym for a pep rally, our amazing stunt team revved up the excitement. The homecoming court and king and queen were announced at the rally. Congratulations to the 2021 NVCA Homecoming King and Queen, Aden Severson and Kylie McElfish.
Approximately 60–70 high school students attended the homecoming dance, which featured a "Hollywood" theme. Many of the students have since commented on how much fun they had at the dance.
Mr. Mitchell shared: "Homecoming week was a great week of fun activities, but even more impressive was the involvement from the students. I am super impressed by the hearts of our students encouraging one another during our lunch activities and the fun and messiness that the Oozeball Tournament brought to the high school level. We had great support at our athletic events and a movie on the lawn as well as the middle school event at Urban Air and the high school homecoming dance."
