Link Crew is a nationwide program designed to welcome and support 9th graders by connecting them with Link Leaders, who are positive, responsible, hand-selected 11th and 12th graders. Link Leaders will help freshmen feel more comfortable as well as help them achieve success in their first year of high school. Doesn’t that sound great? It is!

Approximately 100 juniors and seniors spent the last four days in Link Leader training and preparing for Freshman Orientation. They practiced team-building and communication activities to strengthen their skills as a leader. And a few of their best dance moves. Link Leaders have been paired and assigned a group of 8 freshmen to lead and support this year. Leaders will be contacting their freshmen this week through phone calls and emails to share details about Freshman Orientation. They are excited to welcome the Class of 2024 into the Sea King family. Click here for a copy of the flyer that was sent home.

The Class of 2024 Freshman Orientation will be virtual this year. It will begin at 10am on Friday, August 21st. Individual Zoom links will be shared Friday morning at 9am via email with each freshman. Freshman, be sure to log into your pvpusd email account and answer your phone this week for communication from your Leaders.  They can't wait to meet you!
