Welcome Back!

Dear Georgia ACTE Family,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! As we celebrate 80 years of Building Relationships That Matter, we also celebrate the people who make our association strong—you.

For eight decades, Georgia ACTE has thrived because educators have invested in one another, shared ideas, and worked together to create opportunities for students. Those relationships continue to be the foundation of everything we do.

As we begin a new year, I encourage each of us to strengthen existing connections, build new partnerships, and continue advocating for the life-changing impact of Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education. Together, we will honor our legacy while shaping the future.

Thank you for your dedication to students, your profession, and each other. I wish you a successful, rewarding, and inspiring school year!

Jessica Bowden

President, Georgia ACTE

Explore CTE in North Carolina with Georgia ACTE!

September 13-16, 2026

Georgia ACTE members are invited to hit the road and Explore CTE in North Carolina! This special professional learning opportunity will give Georgia CTAE educators the chance to see innovative Career and Technical Education programs in action, connect with fellow CTE professionals, and bring new ideas and best practices back to their schools and communities.

Participants will have an opportunity to experience firsthand how North Carolina is approaching CTE, including career pathways, hands-on learning, work-based learning, and programs designed to connect students with education and workforce opportunities.

Whether you are a CTAE leader, teacher, counselor, work-based learning coordinator, or other CTE professional, this is a great opportunity to step outside your own district and state and see what others are doing to prepare students for success.

Ready to join us? Space is limited, so make your plans early!

Help Shape the Future of Georgia ACTE!

Whether you are a current Georgia ACTE member, a former member, or simply interested in learning more about our association, we want to hear from you!

Georgia ACTE (GACTE) is seeking input from Georgia CTAE professionals to better understand membership needs, the value of current services, and opportunities to better serve CTAE professionals across the state.

We recognize that this survey asks for a little more of your time than a typical survey, but your feedback is important to us.

Your responses will help guide decisions about future membership services, communication, and engagement opportunities and ensure that GACTE is responsive to the needs of Georgia’s CTAE professionals.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and help shape the future of GACTE.

Your input will help guide our membership efforts and ensure we continue Building Relationships That Matter. Please share with your colleagues that may not see this newsletter.

Please complete this survey by September 4, 2026.
