A Message from the Executive Director
Hello Ryder,
Another school year at Pivot Charter Schools is underway!
Every year we’re more prepared than ever before to provide our students with the best possible learning experience. As our students forge ahead through this fall semester, I’m excited to acknowledge the ways we continue to grow together as a school community.
Throughout this newsletter, you’ll read stories about new things happening in the Pivot community, including a spotlight on a student who has taken advantage of Pivot’s concurrent enrollment opportunities to complete courses at a local Junior College, all while having fun at Pivot and completing her traditional high school course work! You’ll be introduced to one of the newest additions to our Pivot family, English Language Development Teacher, Lucas Elbaum, take a look inside the new student empowerment program called Pivot P.R.I.D.E, and explore exciting opportunities we’ve been able to create through dual and concurrent enrollment to further provide students with exciting learning experiences.
I am constantly reminded of the strength of our Pivot family, and I get so excited to welcome new Pivot students to the heart of our community. Each new addition not only enriches our family but also enables us to expand our dedicated team and offer an even wider array of courses. If Pivot has had a positive impact on you or your student, I encourage you to share your experiences with your friends and acquaintances. We’re here to personalize the educational experience to help as many students as we can to struggle less and learn more—and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to help you, your students and our community do just that.
As always, our incredible team is excited to bring continued dedication and steadfast support to your students throughout the rest of this semester. I truly thank you for choosing to be a part of the Pivot family and helping us share the word about our wonderful community!
The 2023-2024 school year is off to a great start. Let’s finish the semester strong!
