Dear Advent Community,

We are excited to celebrate Pentecost [wear red!] and our Advent Confirmands with you on Sunday, May 23rd at 9:30 AM on the church lawn!

We've been shifting our worship plans very quickly and want to be certain you know how we see worship going forward.

Beginning Sunday we will have outdoor worship on the grass. No need to bring a chair. Chairs will be set up for worship and bulletins will be printed for you.

Fellowship and refreshments will be a part of Sunday's worship as we celebrate Pentecost and our 15 newly confirmed siblings in Christ.

You may have some questions.

Here are some of the things that will be helpful to know:

What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather isn't condusive to outdoor worship, we will move worship indoors. Due to distancing the sanctuary will be limited to confirmands and their immediate families. There will be overflow seating in Fellowship Hall.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Yes. We will require mask wearing when indoors for the forseeable future. Wearing a mask and keeping some distance is one way we can care for those who have not been vaccinated.

Do I need to wear a mask to worship outdoors?
No. You don't need to wear a mask at outdoor worship!

Is it okay if I bring my own chair?
Of course! You are welcome to enjoy worship in a way that is comfortable for you - bring your own chair or a blanket to sit upon.

What if I prefer to stay in my car. Can I still attend that way?
Yes! Simply park in the "small parking lot" and tune into to 103.3 FM.

Will the services still be Live Streaming?
Yes! We plan to continue having Live Streaming as a worship option.

What about Wednesday evening worship?
Wednesday worship will be handled exactly like Sunday with worship set-up outdoors and opportunity for fellowship. Staying in your car and live streaming will be available as well.

When will Advent have worship in the Sanctuary again?
We're thrilled to announce that we're moving worship back into the building on July 11th!

We've all waited more than a year to be together in worship and we're looking forward to celebrating with you on July 11th when we can finally worship together in our beautiful sanctuary.

We look forward to seeing you!
