Students taking online courses either for the first time or returning after some time away, are strongly encouraged to complete the iLearn orientation.  This is a self-paced online orientation designed to prepare students to successfully use the Colleges online class platform prior to beginning classes.  The interactive iLearn orientation is open from August 22 to August 26.

THE SCHOOL OF PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS

We understand that the adult student experience is unique and deserves a different level of support than traditional students.  If you find yourself in need of support, the team in the School of Professional Programs can assist:

Kristine Cullen, Assistant Dean: Kristine is responsible for the daily operation of the School of Professional programs.  Her in-depth understanding of advising, registration and Marist policy has made her an invaluable resource to many of our adult students.

Christie Alfaro, Assistant Director of Advising: Christie can assist all adult students with finding the right academic support services here on campus and online.  She coordinates course registration, advising, and degree plan development for all Management Studies and Professional Studies students.  She also handles the Adult Student Lunch and Learn program.

Toni Constantino, Manager for Online Programs: Toni coordinates summer and winter sessions.  All adult students interested in winter or summer classes – regardless of major – can register for summer and winter courses.  Questions on these sessions can be directed to Toni.

Donna Tompkins, Manager Weekend Paralegal Program: Donna oversees the Weekend Paralegal program.  She works with students from inquiry to graduation. Anyone interested in earning the Marist Paralegal Certificate can connect with Donna.

Lisa Pfitscher, Administrative Coordinator: Lisa is the newest staff member in the School of Professional Programs.  She is often the first person you will meet either by phone or when visiting Professional Programs.  In her short time here, Lisa has quickly developed a wealth of knowledge and is able to assist students with their questions and/or concerns.
