Was it just me or did this summer fly by!? We are now in our last couple weeks of summer vacation and even though I’m sure none of us are ready, it's time to shift our brains from summer mode to school mode!

On behalf of the PTO, we would like to welcome everyone back to the 2023/2024 school year! Becky and I are thrilled to be leading the PTO in another fun and fruitful year serving our school.

First, a little introduction of Becky and myself:

Becky Mongiat: Becky is married to Joe and they have two Giles kiddos, Sam 7th and Lydia 5th. Becky and her family have been at St. Giles for 9 years…since preschool! You have probably seen Becky anywhere and everywhere from being a room parent to running our annual Book Fair and Plant Sale to setting up our electronic catalog in the primary school library. This is her second year leading the PTO as Co-President.

Jen Wuest: My family includes my husband, Brandon and my 3 kiddos, Penny 7th, Jack 4th, and Daniel 2nd. We are entering our 3rd year at St. Giles. You may have seen or met my husband setting up for our annual Rocket Day at the end of the school year. And I’ve been around in the PTO Communications role, helping with the Faith and Family events, and organizing the library. This year I am Co-President with Becky.

The PTO or Parent Teacher Organization is a group of parents who meet monthly to plan and execute various fun events throughout the school year and provide necessary support to the teachers and school administration. Just a sample of some of the things we do include, Fun Lunches & Smoothie Days for the kids, a Family Rosary Challenge in the month of September, classroom parties for Halloween and Valentines Day, a Staff Holiday Fund, the Variety Show, and Trivia Night, a Plant Sale to support our outdoor garden classroom, and library organization, among many many others.
