Dr. Amber Allen Joins the Team!

Amber Allen, MD, FACS is the newest surgeon to join our team and to help us welcome her we are offering $500 off all Smartlipo cases booked with her from now through the end of August!
Dr. Allen is a skilled board-certified general surgeon from Greensboro, NC. She is a member of the American College of Surgeons indicating that Dr. Allen's education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation, and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the ACS.
Dr. Allen completed her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Kentucky, Lexington and her residency in General Surgery at UNC Hospitals at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill where she was recognized for her service in General Surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, Memphis where she was nominated for Alpha Omega Alpha, indicating academic excellence and leadership. Since the completion of her degrees she has been working in General/Trauma Surgery at Central Carolina Surgery and Moses Cone Health System.
Dr. Allen brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in abdominal surgery. We are thrilled to have her talent and expertise as a Smartlipo surgeon focusing on body sculpting at our Durham Cosmetic Clinic. Dr. Allen will be joining plastic surgeon, Dr. Elisa Stein in providing excellent care and a variety of cosmetic solutions to the Healing Waters clientele.

What is Blepharoplasty?
Blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure to enhance the appearance of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both during which excess skin or fat around the eye may be repositioned or removed. The goal is to give a rejuvenated appearance to the area surrounding the eyes, making you look more rested and alert. This procedure is done in-office with local anesthetic.
