Off and Running with a New School Year!
It was so nice to welcome back the classes of 2020, '21 and '22, and welcome in the newest class of 2023 during our first week of school! The halls quickly became more lively, and it was nice to see all the smiling faces as students were reacquainted with their friends after the summer break.

At the beginning of the week, faculty members and upperclassmen welcomed our newest Trojans at their Freshman Orientation. On Tuesday, all students returned for their first official day back and Thursday commenced the celebration of the first school mass, celebrated on the Feast of the Assumption. The week ended with one of Trinity's great traditions, Fraternitas Day. Fraternitas Day brings together the student body as they compete on teams to bring themselves and their peers victories in a variety of games and relay races. This year, Mrs. Kasmer's team scored the most points and were crowned champions! It was a wonderful first week to what we know will be a great 2019-20 school year.

Paging Dr. Walsh
Katharine Walsh ‘20, spent 9 summer days at the prestigious National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine in San Francisco, after being nominated by Mr. Hayes. Students learn the collegiate lifestyle first hand, learn from doctors, participate in interactive curriculum, test their medical knowledge during clinicals, and discover their passions through hands on medical experiences.

Katharine elaborated on the experience. “The NYLF for Medicine was an experience like no other. Learning medical skills like suturing and how to act in a mass casualty incident through the triage system is another way I grew throughout this week.”

Our golf, cross country, and boys soccer teams are also getting underway, while the Football Trojans open up on August 30 vs. Hawken at Bedford Stadium.
