Jessica Schneider, Millburn Goddard School Director
Today, Goddard Millburn celebrates an important transition in the history of our school and Jessica Schneider takes the helm as School Director. Jessica emerged as the clear choice from among a field of 250 candidates during a five-month search process. Jessica is excited to meet all of you and to serve our children at The Goddard School of Millburn!
As the Director of our School, Jessica has been working with young children and teachers for her entire career. A mother with a BA in Elementary Education and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Jessica has been a Center Director, Area Manager, Implementation Specialist, Education Coordinator and Teacher at a leading global childcare brand. When asked what she loves most about teaching, she focuses on the significant impact the school environment makes on our children’s development and who they become day-by-day. She continues to say that “school exists to help people meet their full potential. To do this, we cultivate their natural curiosity and imbue them with skills that foster independence and joy. We also focus on social emotional development since getting along with others is not only a key to success in anything we do, but also what makes life so meaningful and fulfilling.” As the School Director, “there is nothing more fulfilling that witnessing children thriving and teachers excelling in a center that I have led and supported.”
