Suns Out, Wheels Up!
Wheelchairs Needed
Graduations, weddings, July 4th parade; the sun is out and so are Gram and Grampa! As the temperature rises, so does our wheelchair demand. During the summer months, we get many more requests for wheelchairs because everyone wants to attend these fun events. We hate to turn anyone away so if you have a wheelchair in good condition that you would be willing to donate to our medical equipment closet, please bring it to our office any weekday between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:00 pm. And, thank you for your thoughtful generosity!
Summer is Here
But Paying for Food is NOT Easy
The Council food pantry is open 52 weeks a year and the lazy, hazy days of summer are no exception. 74% of what we distribute comes from fresh dairy, produce, lean meats, and fruits and we need your help to sustain this practice over the coming weeks and months.

Please consider making a gift of $25 to help feed a Needham neighbor!

Seeking Volunteer Tutors
Are you a retired software engineer, computer programmer, technology enthusiast or perhaps you have just mastered using your smart phone? Then, maybe you would like to join our program as a Tech Tutor!

We are working to close the "digital divide" by providing one-on-one and in-class training to individuals in the Needham community who have not had access to or experience with technology.

If you are interested in volunteering, please click on the button below or contact [email protected].
👗 Collecting Party Attire 👔
During COVID we were all dressed up and no place to go! Now, let's help young neighbors get dressed up and ready to go out again!

Do you have Bat Mitzvah, Bar Mitzvah, wedding, or party clothes collecting dust because your kids have outgrown them? If you have suits, nice shirts and ties, dresses, blouses, skirts and dress shoes, suitable for youth, teens or tweens, please consider donating them to the Council for our first annual Party Attire Sale in September!

*Please no prom dresses. All proceeds support the food pantry and other Council programs.*
