Kami Welch comes to us from the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, where she was the President & CEO, helping the Chamber and business community grow and develop through innovative approaches, creative partnerships and unique strategies.
"The Arvada Chamber was lucky to find a new president that will hit the ground running and keep our organization's forward momentum," said Jerry Marks, Arvada Chamber Board chairman and president of Custom Environmental Services. "The board and I welcome Kami, and know she will continue to grow the chamber through her deep passion for the business community."
Starting her career on the agency side of public relations Kami established the necessary skills to help businesses of all sizes grow their bottom line through creative public relations approaches and strategies. Finding passion in real estate, Kami spent almost 4 years working in real estate with new home builders and Colorado Realtors increasing Realtor sales at new home sites throughout Colorado via unique marketing approaches and rewarding partnerships. Kami spent a number of years working at a local non-profit increasing the number of volunteers, awareness and dollars through media and outreach campaigns, special events and grassroots efforts.
"I am excited to join the dynamic team at the Arvada Chamber of Commerce," said Welch. "I am very impressed by the Arvada Chamber's accomplishments, and look forward to working with this great community to forge a bright and progressive future."
Kami also enjoys spending time giving back to the community by sitting on a number of boards and volunteering her time whenever possible. During her free time Kami loves being a true Coloradan with her family by enjoying the mountains and exploring the many hidden treasures along the Front Range.
