Dear LTHS Class of 2029 Parents/Guardians and Families,
We are so excited to officially welcome our newest class of students and families to your LT Experience! The Class of 2029 Freshman Experience Day is approximately one month away, and we look forward to continuing to support families as you prepare for the 2025-26 school year. While we cannot wait to meet our newest class of Lions on August 15, we hope the Class of 2029 page on the LT website will continue to support the final stages of your student’s transition process. Our Class of 2029 page is a hub for students and families and includes information on academic programs, athletics & activities, parent organizations, registration process/health forms, and important dates.
As our students engage in their LT Experience, they will have access to an environment that is physically and emotionally safe, an academic curriculum that is comprehensive, challenging, and prepares them for life after high school, and a wide variety of co-curricular activities that meet their interests and needs! As we continue prioritizing connectedness and belonging during the 2025-26 school year, we will encourage each member of our incoming freshman class to connect to at least one of our many activities! There truly is something for everyone at LT!
Our students will be part of a vibrant, engaging, and spirited school community as we foster their growth and affirm our motto, Vita Plena, the quest for the fulfilling life! We look forward to supporting our newest class as they build connections, develop relationships, and take advantage of the many opportunities that LT has to offer! We cannot wait for the Class of 2029 to get started and are excited to see all they will accomplish during their time at LT!
Additionally, on August 8, I will be sending a communication to families with details about the Class of 2029 Freshman Experience Day.
We also wanted to reshare important back-to-school information and dates with your family.
Back-to-School Items
-
Complete Online Registration: The deadline for completing OLR for the 2025-26 school year was May 23. Those families that have not yet completed OLR need to do so immediately. Details are outlined within the Enrollment Services Page.
-
Submit Birth Certificate: Birth certificates are required for all students. The deadline for families of incoming freshman students to submit an original birth certificate to the South Campus Main Office was June 27. Those families that have not yet submitted a birth certificate need to do so immediately. The birth certificate must include the name of at least one parent. A copy will be made and the original will be returned to the family. Targeted communications are regularly being sent to families that still need to submit their child’s birth certificate.
-
Submit Health Paperwork: Details are outlined within the Health Forms page. See Incoming Freshman Health Requirements on our website. Students must have a completed health examination with proof of immunizations prior to the first day of school. Our Health Office will continue sending targeted communications to families that still need to submit medical paperwork.
-
Complete Fee Payment: June 27 was the due date for online fee payment. Families that still need to complete fee payment can pay unpaid fees through the Infinite Campus Parent App. To view the individual charges and make a payment, login to your Infinite Campus Parent App account and select the Fees option for your student(s). You may make online payments using credit or debit cards, or via e-check directly from the Parent App. If you must pay by paper check, send your payment to the South Campus Bookstore. Be sure to include your student's LT ID number on your check.
- If you have questions, please contact Mary O'Neill in the South Campus Bookstore at 708.579.6548.

If you need assistance accessing the Infinite Campus Portal, please contact Belinda Salutric at BSalutric@lths.net or 708.588.7433.
-
Select School Store from the Portal menu and click on the Lyons Township school store to view and pay for optional items such as:
-
Annual Boosters and Parent Teacher Council memberships. Please consider joining and supporting these important organizations! These organizations provide outstanding support to LTHS. Additionally, they give parents/guardians an opportunity to connect with other LTHS parents/guardians (more information below).
-
Residency Verification: We have contracted with a company to assist the district in electronically verifying residency. This means many families will not have to prove residency by bringing in documents and forms. You are either cleared for residency in which case you should have received email notification or you will be asked to bring in proper residency documentation in which case your family received a mailed letter. Specific instructions are included within residency communications. Questions regarding residency status can be directed to the South Campus Main Office at 708.579.6500.
-
Book Pick-Up: Lyons Township High School will welcome students on campus August 6, 7, and 11, 2025 to pick up their school issued supplies for the upcoming school year. Students are required to sign up for a time slot at the campus they will be attending. Parents are not expected to attend. Students will be picking up schedules, textbooks, and Chromebooks (if they don’t already have one). Additionally, yearbook/ID pictures will be taken, so it is critical that the student attends.
- If you have not scheduled an appointment, please use this link to schedule.

Messages from the Boosters: Join the LT Boosters!
Welcome LTHS parents and caregivers of incoming freshmen!
The next year will be busy and exciting for you and your students, and we want to make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to join and get involved with the LT Boosters!
The Boosters is a volunteer parent organization dedicated to supporting and promoting student clubs, fine arts, athletics and extracurricular activities at LTHS through volunteerism, memberships, spirit wear sales, and other fundraisers. This past year, the LT Boosters distributed $25,000 in scholarships to LT seniors and granted over $90,000 to LT clubs, activities and athletics! All of this was made possible in part by LT Boosters membership revenue.
We hope you will consider joining the Boosters and help us continue this important work. You can purchase your membership when you pay your school fees in the LT School Store or you can purchase your membership and shop for Booster wear at LTBoosters.com.
Please reach out to us if you would like to get involved with the Boosters! In addition to volunteer opportunities throughout the year, we still have a few open Board positions for the upcoming school year (see a list of open positions below).
