Join us for an hour of lectio divina prayer, conversation and small group sharing. "Teas" are scheduled every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month!

MAN TO MAN

Tuesday, May 24th
from 7-8:30pm
at the House of Prayer and on Zoom

Men have unique roles in life...husbands, fathers, grandfathers, the single life and religious life...We're pushed and pulled in a thousand directions by responsibilities, stress, loss and by joys. Where can we find time to reflect on the loss and gain of our lives? For all men--young, old and in between.

VIRTUAL CENTERING PRAYER

Tuesday, May 3rd from 7:30-8:30pm

Come together monthly to pray this ancient form of prayer and breathe in God's peace. Includes centering prayer and lectio divine.

FINDING PRESENCE IN DRUMMING

Wednesday, May 4th from 7-9pm
at the House of Prayer

Join us for an evening of drumming, chanting and healing in words, in silence and in your chakras! Be mindful of God’s presence and eliminate you MIND full of everything else!

Mercy Associate Barbara is a musical therapist who works with Seniors and Special Needs’ children.


WEEKEND SILENT DIRECTED RETREATS

An experience of personal prayer based on scripture. Daily spiritual direction. Atmosphere of prayerful quiet.

Begins at 7pm on Friday and ends by 2pm on Sunday

RICHARD ROHR VIDEO CLUB

Richard Rohr, OFM, is one of the great spiritual masters of our time. His many spiritual books have touched millions of God-seekers. Join this monthly video club which is a collaborative endeavor of the House of Prayer and Holy Trinity Parish, Westfield. Come reflect and share your insights and prayerful responses to Rohr's writings.

GOD'S ON-GOING CALL

God calls in different ways at different times in our lives. How do we hear the call, and how do we respond, no matter how old we are?

SACRED TIME, SACRED SPACE

A personal, quiet day to enjoy God's presence. Day begins with communal prayer. Bring a bag lunch.
Days are from 9:30am-3pm.

The mission of Mount Saint Mary House of Prayer, rooted in the Gospel and the charism of the Sisters of Mercy, is to provide a sacred space, prayer experiences, and spirituality programs that help adults of any faith to encounter the God of mercy and share that mercy with others.  The mission moves beyond the House of Prayer to any place where we share our ministry.
