Congratulations on your acceptance to the Delaware Area Career Center! Coming to a new school in the fall can feel overwhelming and we want to make it as easy as possible.

Over the next few months, you'll be receiving periodic emails from us with important information about items that need to be completed before August and what to expect in the fall.

In the meantime, please take a moment to watch the welcome video below from our Building Principal and District Superintendent and mark your calendar for some upcoming dates.

Virtual Information Sessions - Optional
Receiving an acceptance letter from DACC is exciting, but can also leave you with some questions about what's next, how to schedule your classes, and much more.

We will host two virtual information sessions to make sure you get your questions answered.

Register below for one or both of these sessions:
Counselor Information Session
Friday, March 25th, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
Our school counseling team will review items such as:
  • Scheduling
  • Credits
  • Graduation requirements
  • IEPs and 504 plans
  • Behavioral health supports
  • College Credit Plus

Principal Information Session
Monday, April 25th, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Building Principal Jim Gaskill and Assistant Principals Buck Weaver and Mike Herzog will go over topics such as:
  • Attendance
  • School delays
  • Notifications
  • Transportation
  • Daily logistics

Once you register, you will be sent the Microsoft Teams link to join the meeting.
Academics at DACC
In addition to lab programs, DACC also offers a full line of academic courses. Learn more about how taking academics at DACC can benefit you. If you applied for half-day only and would like to add academic courses to your schedule, simply call us at 740-203-2214 to inquire about available space in our academic programs.
