New Student
Information
Dear DACC Students and Families -

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Delaware Area Career Center! You may have received the official acceptance notification some time ago, but there is still a lot of information to cover. Coming to a new school in the fall can feel overwhelming and we want to make it as easy as possible.

Over the next few months, you'll be receiving periodic emails from us with important information about items that need to be completed before August and what to expect in the fall. This past year has been different for all of us, but we will keep you informed as to what the fall will entail.

In the meantime, though, please take a moment to watch the below welcome video from our Building Principal and District Superintendent.

Sincerely,

David Gilliam
Students Services Supervisor
Delaware Area Career Center

2021-2022 District Calendar
The 2021/2022 DACC district calendar was just recently approved by the DACC Board of Education.

Please pay careful attention to special days off, such as holidays and spring break. We do our best to align with as many associate schools as possible. However, each associate school district has its own calendar and not all of them will line up with our start date, ending date, and breaks.

DACC In the News
Introducing the latest technology to our students is what we do. Learning how to use it through remote instruction, while in the classroom and at home, is just one more way our staff and students have adapted to career tech education during a pandemic.

DACC Dental Assisting students were recently introduced to 3D facial scanning - the latest in dental technology. Read the full story in the Delaware Gazette.
Join us online
Following DACC on social media is a fun way to get a behind-the-scenes look at our unique programming and find out what your children are doing while they're on our campus. More than that, though, social media is how our DACC parents receive up-to-date announcements and in the case of an emergency, the quickest way to get information into your hands.
Online Resources
Below are resources on the DACC web site that may be helpful to you. If you have questions that these resources do not answer, please don't hesitate to contact us at 740-548-0708.
