CHAMBER NEWS & UPDATES

Welcome New Member

East Coast Renewable Energy

East Coast Renewable Energy, LLC (ECR) was created to offer what the big companies offer, but with better pricing. You might ask how they can offer better pricing. Simply put, they don’t have the overhead that the big companies have. Most importantly, they work hand-in-hand with their customers, so their customers are not a number but rather a member of their business. Owner Nicholas Valorie is always accessible to speak with his customers and review options.

East Coast Renewable Energy offers the following products:

  • Battery Storage
  • Car Charging
  • Community solar
  • Negotiated Supply Rates
  • Solar Installation

Their mission is to educate their customers about what is available. They will educate you on what is available, but make sure you circle back as their pricing should beat everyone else’s pricing.

ECR has saving opportunities for public entities, municipalities, business owners, homeowners, and renters. Anyone who pays an electric bill** can save money with ECR. ECR savings are based on electricity costs; however, they do have channel partners who can offer other savings to customers. Contact them to ask how they can help in other areas.

Everything ECR proposes to customers is 100 percent at no cost or obligation to review. When you opt into most products, there is no cost; however, some products do have out-of-pocket expenses.

** Saving money on your electric bill is based on whether the utility company you have participates in the renewable energy programs.

Welcome to the chamber East Coast Renewable Energy. We hope to see you at upcoming events.

Meet URCC Board Secretary

Rebecca Marshall-Howarth

We would like to introduce you to URCC Board current Secretary and past President Rebecca Marshall-Howarth. Rebecca owns The Last Word, a full-service marketing communications services company that helps both small and large companies effectively communicate their value to their customers.

For small business, The Last Word works as an “as needed” marketing communications department, providing writing, editing, and proofreading while working with a network of seasoned professionals to design and print or post marketing materials. For larger businesses, The Last Word extends existing staffs during overload times, adding that oh so important “extra set of eyes.” For all customers, Rebecca brings a fresh perspective on a company’s communications efforts and a wealth of experience gleaned from her 30-year career.

Now that Rebecca works locally instead of taking the train into Boston every day, she volunteers in the chamber office three days each week. She creates the chamber’s weekly eNewsletter and helps with correspondence. This is right up her alley, since she is The Last Word. Rebecca offers discounts for chamber members and will review your website at no cost to assure that it is written perfectly.
