Join us in welcoming the newest Office of Sponsored Programs team member, Jarrett Cocharo, Senior Research Financial Accountant. Jarrett will coordinate implementation efforts for the deployment of Cayuse to Workday, awards review of data and assist the Financial Research Account Manager as needed. Jarrett will be assigned to colleges/departments after the holidays in January of the new year.
Prior to joining UNLV, Jarrett spent five years in grant accounting at The University of North Texas Health Science at Fort Worth. At UNTHSC, he was part of the team that implemented the PeopleSoft electronic billing module for sponsored projects. Jarrett began his career at Ernst & Young LLP as an external auditor followed by two years as an internal auditor at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Jarrett is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. He has a bachelor degree in communication from The University of Alabama and a master degree in accounting from The University of Texas at Austin.
