Welcome!
Please join us in welcoming the newest Office of Sponsored Programs Grants & Contracts Research Administrator,
Jaymie Freidank, MS. Jaymie will be working with the Division of Health Sciences except for the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine and Clinical Trials.

For the past two and half years, Jaymie was a grants administrator for the UNLV School of Public Health. She has over seven years of pre- and post-award research administration experience. Beginning her NSHE career in NSHE administration in 2019.

Prior to working for UNLV and NSHE, she worked for a number of institutions and non-profits where she gained an understanding of sponsored projects in grant related positions. Some of these agencies include Texas A&M, University of Montana, and Boys & Girls Club of America. She has managed various types of grants such as NIH, NSF, DoD, NASA, CDC, HRSA, DARPA, among state and local sponsors. She has a MS degree in Criminal Justice Administration and has been working on both a graduate certificate in Higher Education Administration and her Certified Research Administration (CRA) credential.

This interactive webinar is designed to inform and inspire UNLV Business, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences faculty who are new to external funding processes. Participants will engage with UNLV granting support services, learn about opportunities to collaborate in Interdisciplinary Research Development Areas (IRDA), and participate in a Get That Grant Workshop.
