July 24, 2021 Coneheads Ice Cream made it’s debut back in it’s original hometown of Oneida. It’s been a long time coming not just for the patrons of the city but for the owner, Adam Behr as well. “We’ve been trying to get back into Oneida for the last four years, and we’ve finally found the perfect spot.” Behr said on opening weekend. “It’s good to be back.”
The original Coneheads in the flats of Oneida was opened by Jeff Behr in 1977. It was a long time staple in the community, running for 30 years. If you wanted ice cream, that’s where you got it. Adam hopes to bring that same reputation back to it’s hometown for generations to come.
The ice cream eatery serves well over 50 soft and hard flavors combined, along with signature boat sundaes, endless combinations, and even a specialty Monster Energy Milkshake. They also offer dairy-free options.
You can conveniently stop by on your bike on your way down the Rail Trail in Oneida or drive on over in your car to 646 Lenox Ave.
