Hair, hair, we're almost there!

Girls Hair

Look and feel like a professional performer!

Ballet buns are no secret or cause of anxiety.

First - supplies needed

  1. Ponytail holders, hair elastics. Rubber bands hurt so the covered ones are kinder
  2. Hair nets - have a supply for those special times we show off, like our shows!
  3. Bobby pins - the sturdy kind
  4. Hair pins - shaped like a “U” also sturdy
  5. Hair spray AND gel

Buns should be as flat as possible and pins securely holding the hair to the head.

No need to purchase a bun maker. They just make for wobbly buns that don’t hold well when spinning and leaping.

Keep buns secure and avoid centrifugal force that causes pins and hair to fly about.

Boys Hair

  • Boys can use gels and pins to secure any loose hairs away from the face.

  • Boys hair should have a slick and tidy look.

  • Long hair should be pulled back into a low ponytail.

Any questions or need help with the hair thing? We love to help!

Happy Dancing!
