The Staff Parish Relations Committee is excited to announce that Sarah Floyd was offered and accepted the positions of Director of Youth and Video Ministries. Sarah will officially begin the Video portion of her position today (April 19th) and the Director of Youth Ministry portion on June 1.
Sarah brings an excellent combination of education, energy, vision, experience, and most importantly, a deep love for Christ, to both positions. Sarah graduated from Valparaiso University with a double major in Communications/Video Production and Psychology, with a concentration in Theology, and brings significant experience in video/media production, congregational, youth, and family ministry, and social work. She is currently in the Master of Divinity program at Palmer Theological Seminary (Eastern University) in response to God's calling to pastoral ministry. Sarah is excited to begin working at St. John's, and to extend the love of Christ to others such that they may grow and become devoted followers of Christ Jesus. We are very thankful - and excited - that Sarah is joining our outstanding staff!

As we welcome Sarah, we also want to acknowledge and express our deep appreciation for the significant time and effort Rich Prim has offered in service to God through the videoing of our worship services throughout the pandemic. Rich has done an outstanding job, enabling us to worship and remain connected in a very challenging time. We are very thankful for all Rich has done, and that he’ll continue to be a part of the video ministries team!
