The Homeland Security Philanthropy Council is excited to announce our partnership with
Sparo Foundation
in support of our Lifting the Veil: A Deal to End Human Trafficking Event on October 30, 2019 at LAVO Nightclub NYC.
The focus of this event will center around highlighting the achievements being made in protecting our supply chains, insulating our communities against terrorism and illicit activities, and strengthening our partnerships between law enforcement and private industry.
"We are delighted to have partnered with HSPC to shed light on and raise funds for victims of human trafficking both here in the U.S. and around the world. Sadly, there are over 21 millions victims of human trafficking across the globe. These innocent individuals deserve our love, care, compassion and financial support," said Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Rob Sobhani. "Equally important, the victims of human trafficking need to become productive members of society through meaningful jobs. The event on October 30 sponsored by HSPC aims to raise enough funds via Sparo Foundation's patented platform. These funds will be used to place victims of criminal gangs who exploit the vulnerable in our societies in life-altering jobs."
All proceeds from this event will go towards the Granting Courage initiative which helps create jobs for human trafficking survivors while concurrently gathering intelligence which can be used by private industry and law enforcement to combat these crimes.
"We are excited about the opportunity to partner with Sparo Corporation on this event and beyond," said Chief Executive Officer, James Barchiesi. "This partnership will allow us to support Sparo in their vision of becoming a global giving platform and increase the ease of charitable giving to the Homeland Security Philanthropy Council."
The Council is grateful for this partnership to help move this initiative forward and to showcase our unique partnership on October 30th.
