Hello Everyone,
I hope you have all been staying warm and healthy throughout the winter months. I know the sneak peek of spring weather that we have gotten has me feeling a bit of spring fever; we are so ready for lots more time outdoors once Mother Nature decides that spring is truly here to stay!
My child care program is doing the 1,000 hours of being outdoors again this year. It is really fun for the kids, the parents, and me to see those spaces filling in! Have you ever thought about how much time you actually spend outside with your children?
We as a Board have been busy planning for our 2022 Conference to be held at the Hyatt Regency in Green Bay April 28-30. We have a great lineup of Presenters and Exhibitors as always and would love to see you there in person!
We will be holding Regional Caucuses at the Conference to vote in new members of the Board, we will be voting in three Representatives for Regions 2, 4, 6, and 8. We also have openings in Regions 1, 3, 5, and 7; please contact me if you are in any of the Regions with openings and you are interested in joining the Board of Directors. Please see the map included in this newsletter if you are unsure which region you are in.
We have also been working on gathering info through a couple of surveys for both parents and providers so that we can have some info to approach Legislature on a few changes we would like to see in the licensing rules.
