Welcomes Two Student Interns

Queenstown, Maryland (June 16, 2021) - As combines start cutting winter Barley, Lindsay Thompson and her team welcome two college student interns for the summer! Please welcome Ms. Jennifer Gannon and Ms. Kara Hutchison to Thompson Ag Consulting. Both interns were born and raised on family grain farms on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and have been actively involved in their county

4-H and FFA programs.

Jennifer is currently attending the University of Maryland, College Park as a junior working on her degree in Agriculture Business Management. Outside of Thompson Ag Consulting, you can find Jennifer in the field working alongside her father, Tom Gannon, or in the Talbot County Extension Office as their Program Assistant. Following graduation, Jennifer plans to return to her family farm in Centreville.

From Talbot County, Kara Hutchison is a junior at Delaware Valley University, striving to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness with a specialization in Crops, Horticulture, and Crop Production, with future plans to complete Del Val's Agribusiness Management Master's Degree program. As the fifth generation of Hutchison Brothers Farm in Cordova, Kara's roots run deep in production agriculture.
