Session:
Salad in a Jar Party
Speaker:
Nicole Scott
Date & Time:
Thursday, July 18th, 2019
12:00 Noon - 1:30 PM

Join us over the lunch hour as Nicole Scott teaches us how to make 5 salad in a jar each. This is a true inspiring healthy community event teaching us how simple whole food eating can be on the go. What to bring? 5 Mason Jars. Pick 2 ingredients that you will bring to contribute to the food buffet and make sure you bring enough for everyone. Bring your big dish of veggies plus a serving spoon. (Once we confirm how many people ie. 10 people x 5 jars = 50 servings of your ingredients to cover off everyone's jar.. so 1 cut up cucumber won't work lol). We want them to be plant based items please: Protein/Grain ideas: nuts/seeds/quinoa/beans/chickpeas/Brown rice Veggies: All types cut up in bit size . Once you confirm your 2 ingredients we don't want others to duplicate so 1st to announce your 2 ingredients those are your items. Looking forward to seeing our community out.

Contact Annie Hardock or e-mail unghq@uxbridge.com to register and confirm your 2 ingredients.

Thank you to all who attended and and participated in the first annual Connecting Business Event on June 14th, 2019.
The 1st annual Connecting Business Event was a huge success and we are looking forward to hosting the next annual Connecting Business Event in June 2020. Hosted by the UNG on Friday, June 14th at the Foxbridge Golf Course, attendees were welcomed by a business showcase with a variety of businesses and organizations featuring their services and providing valuable information to our guests.
The panel discussion initiated a conversation between the key business organizations in Uxbridge and provided attendees with information on how we can start working together and where our goals can align to make an abundance of success for all forms of businesses in Uxbridge.

Watch for more event photos by professional photographer Stephen Wright to be uploaded on our Facebook Page and in the Fall issue of the Networking Magazine.

UNG Members collaborated on a Celebrity Server Day
On Thursday, June 27th Boston Pizza Uxbridge and the Uxbridge Fall Fair Board collaborated on a celebrity server day/night. Boston Pizza Uxbridge donated 10% of all sales from the day to the Uxbridge Fall Fair. The fair had members of their board cleaning tables and sharing information about the fair with the diners.

There were lots of raffles for adults and kids, animal cutouts, a buggy and a demolition car on display in the parking lot. Lots of fun was had and it was a successful day.
