Welcome to Abound Health,
As Andy shared, after more than 26 years of operations he has decided to partner and as of
March 17, 2023 we have started the process of transitioning Charles Hines & Son, Inc. to Abound Health. Over the next few months we will be working to complete the process of making Charles Hines & Son a part of the Abound family.
Abound Health provides a range of services for the I/DD population across the state of NC. As
one of the largest statewide providers, Abound is able to offer comprehensive service offerings.
We believe in person-centered care. The whole person. That requires commitment to have the
best team supporting our clients and their families.
Please be assured your loved ones, and your direct care staff will notice very few if any changes in the day-to-day operations of the agency AND most importantly to the care you receive.
We anticipate you may have questions and in that spirit I’d like to share some details with you:
- Your current DSP will continue to support you and your family.
- Their pay and schedule will remain the same.
- Your QP will also not change.
- There will not be any changes to the services you receive as Abound Health offers an equally comprehensive mix.
- Advocacy will host virtual DSP and Family conversations 3/22 @12noon (Mid-day Meet up), and 3/23 @6pm (Evening Conversation). Additional details to come soon.
