BHA Principal's Update
Assalamu Alaikum Dear BHA families,

I hope you all had a safe, restful and meaningful break with your families and are energized and ready for the second half of the school year Insha'Allah.
As educators, we at BHA are grateful for all opportunities to impact young lives. Our students are the reason we're here. As we all safely returned virtually on Tuesday, alhamdullilah we had a smooth and positive start to the new year.

As the second semester approaches, our staff, our admin team, and I have one vision for our students and we hope it is closely in line with yours as their parents. We want ALL of our students to become all that they can be. Despite the changes we are all facing, we want them to be successful through good, consistent attendance, perseverance, utilizing help from our staff and working diligently. These traits are good habits that will carry them profitably throughout their life. We expect a great deal from them because they are all so very capable of producing excellent results!

Please keep everyone in your prayers as COVID rates are increasing. We ask Allah SWT to help things settle and keep us all healthy and safe.

Jazakum Allahu Khairan,

Muhammad Aftab Diwan, MEd
STUDENT HIGHLIGHTS: Ms. Monica's 2nd Grade
Stone Soup Tradition Continues!

Here are some screen shots of our Stone Soup party from Dec. 18th, 2020. Every student had a recipe and made their own soup. Then we came together that Friday and had our soup together on zoom. It's "historic" for second grade, because all the students were able to get a stone from stone soup!
A Note From The Teacher:

Student Highlight: A big shout out to sophomores Shukriya & Ayat for always being prepared for an engaging discussion in class. I really appreciate that you bring your unique opinions and views during class talks. It makes for an interesting class period!
