Learn strategies for improving and addressing school attendance


The last session in our four-part workshop series on the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for students is coming up on May 7. The deadline to register is April 30.


Sponsored by the Kane County ROE and the Kane County Juvenile Justice Council, this workshop will guide participants through the MTSS framework that is designed to foster a culture of attendance, identify students at risk of chronic absenteeism early, and provide individualized support and interventions.

Evaluator Initial Training and Retraining for Principals and Assistant Principals

This two-day, in-person Administrators' Academy (AA#4050) will serve as the official training for educators seeking initial training qualification or retraining to be legally qualified to conduct evaluations of principals and assistant principals.


Participants will explore the School Leader Paradigm and current research to communicate the impact that effective school leaders have on a learning organization. This academy also features an in-depth analysis of the School Leader Evaluation Plan and Cycles of Inquiry, focusing on how to align evaluations with student growth and school improvement goals.
