A READI award ceremony with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and Accelerate Rural Indiana (ARI) celebrated the region’s early success. At the ceremony, Mayor Mike Bettice and Economic Development Director Sarah Lamping spoke about the economic impact of Kids Discovery Factory, Batesville Skatepark and Outdoor Adventure, Batesville Community School Corporation dual credit/dual enrollment with Ivy Tech, and the Batesville Industrial Tech Lab.

Recognized by the Indiana Small Business Development Center in partnership with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation as the 2023 Indiana Small Business Start-Up of the Year, The Hiviz is a woman-owned, family-run apparel business that creates high-quality innovative uniforms.

Batesville to Host the ISO Performance, Fireworks Display

The City of Batesville and Batesville Area Arts Council will host the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) on June 29, 2023. Featuring a world-class symphony performance paired with a professional fireworks display, the Star-Spangled Indianapolis Symphony will be free and open to the public.
