Our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the incredible outpouring of kindness from our community. From generous donations of time, gifts, money, and food, you made the season bright for the individuals we serve.

Thanks to you, our youth received thoughtful gifts that brought joy and hope. Our shelters were filled with warm meals and full hearts. But most importantly, individuals in need felt seen, valued, and cared for.

We’ve been so touched by your compassion that our team has written more thank-you letters than we could imagine! Our hands may still be recovering, but it’s worth every moment to express how deeply we appreciate your support!

Crosswalk 2.0: A New Chapter for our Youth

We’re thrilled to announce the progress of Crosswalk 2.0, a transformational step in providing better opportunities for Spokane’s homeless youth. By October of this year, Crosswalk will relocate from downtown to a residential area. This new location places our youth directly next to valuable resources like CHAS Health Clinic and Spokane Community College. Additionally, they will finally enjoy having separate spaces for sleeping, relaxing, learning, and dining.

This move is more than just a change of address; it’s a step toward equity and success. Our kids deserve to live in a neighborhood like everyone else - a safe, nurturing environment that supports their growth and dreams. Being in a residential setting fosters stability, while proximity to the college opens doors to educational opportunities. Access to healthcare and community resources further ensures that they have the tools to thrive!

Our current shelter has been protecting kids since 1985, but we are beyond excited for this project to come to fruition so we can experience the impact of relocating to a space where they are able to spread their wings and accomplish their dreams in safety. Stay tuned for updates as we bring our youth's vision to life and continue our commitment to ending the cycle of homelessness.
