I am in the process of soliciting policy and procedures from these courts. The 245th has been active in posting in social media family law groups the new policy and procedures. Also, I have the names of all the new associates judges, thus our law firm is prepared for the transition. Generally with new judges, and we have alot of very young judges, it takes about a year before they get the job down. While we see a much more diverse group of judges, this is also the youngest group of judges that have taken the bench in Harris County. At Busby and Associates, we have prepared for this by focusing on appellate rules and procedures for the last 60 days, but also watching for judges to post their ideas on changes to local rules coupled with policy and procedures. Happy New Year and God bless you and your family.
