FRA is committed to supporting Florida's redevelopment efforts and we look forward to working with community redevelopment agencies, our loyal members and all of the other wonderful individuals and organizations who continue to make redevelopment work.

2020 FRA Annual Report Award Winner (Small City) - Riviera Beach CRA

ANNUAL REPORT SMALL CITY

Congratulations to the Riviera Beach CRA for receiving the 2020 Annual Report Award for a small city!

The Riviera Beach CRA used a new look and feel for this year’s annual report and it capitalized on the vibrant color displayed in the beautiful murals and revitalized buildings throughout the District.

The annual report incorporated views from several economic development events, including the well-attended Opportunity Zone Workshop and the entrepreneurs and emerging business workshops.

IMPORTANT LEGISLATIVE DATES

The 2021 Legislative Session is quickly approaching!

While we don't expect drastic changes to Florida's CRAs, this is truly an uncertain time due to COVID-19 impacts.

The upcoming session convenes on March 2 and adjourns on April 30.

As your trusted association to advocate for redevelopment practice in Florida, we will keep you updated on proposed legislation, information and how you can get involved.

Serving on one of our eight committees in 2021!

In an effort to continue growing and providing the best resources for Florida’s redevelopment professionals, FRA offers various volunteer opportunities to members looking to get involved with the association.

As we enter the new fiscal year, FRA is seeking members to serve in 2021.

Our committees include the Academy, Awards, Conference, Finance, Legislative Affairs, Membership, Nominating and Public Relations.
