Asian Pacific American Heritage Association

Happy New Year, APAHA Family!

As we step into 2026, we find ourselves at a meaningful crossroads: a moment to pause and reflect on the journey that brought us here, while looking eagerly toward the horizon of what’s to come. Our recent blog post, Looking Back, Moving Forward,” captures the essence of this transition, and we want to carry that spirit into everything we do this year.

Looking Back: A Journey of Resilience Reflecting on the past few years, we are filled with gratitude for the resilience of our community. From the challenging days of the pandemic, when we shifted to virtual scholarship ceremonies and digital artist features, to the triumphant return of our signature "Dancing with the APAHA Stars" Gala, your support has never wavered.

Moving Forward: Our Vision for 2026 The "Moving Forward" part of our journey is perhaps the most exciting. In 2026, APAHA is committed to expanding our reach beyond the traditional month of May.

This year, you can look forward to:

  • Greater Cultural Diversity: A dedicated focus on showcasing the rich, often underrepresented traditions of our Pacific Islander and Southeast Asian communities.
  • Elevating Voices: New initiatives designed to provide creative and professional platforms for AAPI individuals and allies alike.

Thank you for being part of our story. Here’s to a 2026 filled with growth, culture, and community.
