Family Discussion Questions from Today's Sermons:
(Here are some questions related to Pastor Jen's sermon to help spark some discussion amongst family members and/or friends.)

Has there ever been a time when you felt like God was asking you to participate in His "outrageous" plan?
Is there anything special you are waiting for during this Advent Season?
How has the waiting affected you and your relationship with God?
Shifting Back to Online Only Worship
Due to recommendations from the Minnesota Annual Conference, the decisions of local school districts, and county health data we will have returned to online only worship.

Advent Song

Each week as another candle is lit on the Advent wreath, we will be singing this song. Please join us!

2 Light the Advent candle, two:
Think of humble shepherds, who
filled with wonder at the sight
of the child of Christmas night.
Refrain
Candle, candle, burning bright,
shining in the cold winter night;
candle, candle, burning bright,
fill our hearts with Christmas light.

Thank You from Andrea
Greetings Grace,

Thank you for all the support, kind words, generosity, and thoughtful send off last month. I am grateful beyond measure for the Grace congregation. You all lived the call to "love your neighbor" by how you treated me (the Wisconsinite) during my five years at Grace. Thank you! Please stay in touch! May this Advent shine a little light on your shadows and bring a little peace to your concerns.

With a grateful heart,
Andrea

Community Service Opportunity!!

The local Christmas for Vets organization, now in its sixth year, will be hanging wreaths on all veterans’ gravesites on Saturday, December 5. Volunteers are needed to help with this annual recognition of veterans.

There are 414 veterans to be recognized in eight local cemeteries, including Pequot Lakes City Cemetery, Our Saviors Lutheran, Kedron, Stony Brook, Jenkins City Cemetery, Jenkins Township Norwood Cemetery, Maple Hill and Pleasant Hill.

Volunteers are asked to meet in the parking lot behind Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes at 11:30 a.m., where they will be instructed in the wreath hanging, and assigned to a section in the city cemeteries with a team leader. The rural cemeteries have previously been assigned volunteer coordinators.

Pastor Jen and Chris will be there, hope to see you too!
